More WoW characters for the same story
The story I'm writing centers around Hazel from my previous entry and Cassus from the entry, the others are also main characters, but not as much as those two. So, anyway, here're the rest of the characters I'd like opinions on. They don't seem Sueish to me, but they could be and that's where second opinions come in.

So I went to see Holmes. I liked it, I did. I don't really feel like writing up my thoughts on it, because it's rather late.
I will say that the slashtasticness of the movie seemed vastly overstated. The Internet gave me the impression that Holmes and Dr. Watson would be the gay gaymosexuals who ever had buttsex together, but no. The movie was all about their girlfriends, it seemed like, or "girlfriend" in Holmes's case. But anyway, I do recommend it, even though I spent $21 dollars on tickets.

Full Species(es): The Extra-Sibling Sue (or in this case I suppose replacement sibling would actually be the correct term)
Hair Color (include adjectives): Hasn't been mentioned yet, but I'd imagine something like Sirius'
Eye Color (include adjectives): "Plain" Gray
Unusual Markings/Colorations: None mentioned so far
Special Possessions (if any): None so far. I'm sure it's only a matter of time
Annoying Origin: The Black Family. Allegedly.
Annoying Connections To Canon Characters: Seems to have replaced Regulus as Sirius' younger sibling. I don't think I'd have taken that trade.
Annoying Special Abilities: Cries virtually every ten minutes.
Other Annoying Traits: Pretty much just the crying so far. There's a lot of that. A LOT.

A World of Warcraft character
Keep in mind, I will not be playing him in-game because 1. I can't afford it. 2. His race makes it impossible and 3.It would be a pain in the ass to level a priest just to abandon the character and re-roll him as a Death Knight. Basically I plan to either write about him or use him in the tabletop game. Also, I have researched WoW lore, but I have a piss-poor memory and sometimes things get lost in the jumble that is my brain, so if I've forgotten something, don't hesitate to tell me.

Full Name (plus titles if any): Well, they've stopped calling her “Jade,” at least for now, so I think she's just back to being “Raven Mercedes Potter/Beetle.”
Full Species(es): Surprise!Twin Sue.
Hair Color (include adjectives): Still no mention, unless I've missed it. She keeps calling Pansy “the dark-haired girl” in the second chapter, though, and in order for that to make sense, she must be blond. Which is very wtf when you remember that her twin has black hair.
Eye Color (include adjectives): No mention. Green would make sense, so I'm going to guess brown.
Unusual Markings/Colorations: The Dark Mark
Special Possessions (if any): Draco, Ron, and Fred's balls. Voldy's esteem.
Annoying Origin: She was magically transported into Lily's womb from Sueland.
Annoying Connections To Canon Characters: She's a Death Eater, then later an Order of the Phoenix member, she's Draco's best friend, she's Blaise's ex-girlfriend and Pansy's bitter rival, she's good friends with Hermione and Ginny, she's Harry's twin sister, and Fred, Ron, and Draco are in love with her.
Annoying Special Abilities: Makes everyone around her forget all about their canon concerns and worry only about her. She can also chuck hugely important parts of canon out the window and somehow keep it from being noticed.
Other Annoying Traits: She's a raging hypocrite, she's indecisive as Hell, she's a complete woobie, and she's reckless and compulsive to the point of completely idiocy.

2010 Resolutions....or something like them anyway...
#1 - Tidy and organise bedroom
- mental note: maybe not use moving house as excuse to do so!
#2 - Finish Cirque des Cercles cross stitch
#3 - Which leads me to : organise cross stitch supplies and get patterns sorted out.
#4 - Read all unread books in room!
#5 - Finally complete a 50 books and 50 films challenge - finally!
#6 - Is six a good number to stop on? Cause I'm done.
If I get any of these accomplished...well, it'll be a miracle!

Wow...
I can't believe it's 2010 already. I know I know, I'm 4 days late into the program, but still. 2009 seems to have dissapeared so quickly! I quit my job, started university, got a new job and I'm still around. It scares me a little to realise how much I had changed last year until Rob talked to me about it. At the start of last year I was in a job I didn't really like, working in an office for 40 hours a week and I wasn't doing much else. This year, I'm working in a job I love (I get to talk to so many people and the people I work with are fantastic!) and I'm going to Seattle in 5 months (checks ticker below) and I am going to uni again. In fact, summer school starts on Wednesday and I can't wait! It's a pretty intensive 6 week course I'm doing on everyday chinese mandarin - both speaking it and writing it. It's 9 hours a week with a 4 hour exam every second week. Then I will have a week off between Summer School ending and university starting.
But the most awesome news of all is that I'm heading to Seattle. If it wasn't for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) supershineygirl and her awesomeness I wouldn't be going at all. I truly am blessed to have a friend like her..she's a one-in-a-million person and I wouldn't trade her friendship and love for all the money in the world. Okay, sappy bit over!!
I still remember the day vividly that I handed in my notice at my last job and got that feeling of immense pleasure come over me. I handed it in on the Friday and I was soo happy that the grin on my face kept me going. The mere thought that I was leaving kept me going for the last two weeks I was there, the fact they made me do all the filing was merely a shadow on the fact that I was finally leaving!! I was going to be a fully fledged student bludging off the government and I couldn't wait.
Okay, I was really scared and worried that not only would I fit in anywhere but that I would completely fail at everything I did and make myself out to be a complete loser. But I made some friends, who are still with me now, and I felt completely liberated. What more could I want really.
I sigh when I think of what else happened last year, a really great friend of mine passed away unexpectedly. It was awful coming onto the internet and reading a post on her facebook from her partner saying she had gone to the land of the angels. We were going to get together for our 30th birthday (now only 11 months away for me) and drink margaritas in pitchers till neither of us could walk. Of course, I'll still be doing the margaritas but I'll also be doing something to remind me of how lucky I am to still be alive - I'm thinking jumping out of a plane, or bungy jumping or something. I'm not 100% sure yet, but I'll definately be doing something.
I applied for jobs left, right and center while I was at uni. Getting more and more crestfellen that I wasn't getting anywhere because of the hours of my courses when I struck it lucky at the supermarket up the road. You may be thinking, sure but now you're only a checkout operator, but I really couldn't be more happier. You may see me moaning on facebook about the extra shifts I do, or the 6am starts but I truly enjoy myself. Every day I am there there is something interesting going on. Like the little girl the other day who not only had her own trolley but also had her own shopping that had to go on an extra receipt and be bagged seperately to her mums, because they were "hers". The look on her face was priceless, especially when I handed her her own receipt and put her shopping in the trolley. It was gorgeous.
I've also had a year of spending a lot of time with my friends and meeting new ones (shout out to katdakiwi and generally having an awesome time. Looking back on the year, I wish I had done some more cross stitch but hey I can't be choosy! I've spent lots of time making awesome memories and just having a lot of fun!
I wish I could add some photos to this post, but I don't have any on my laptop yet! Hopefully, over the next week I will be able to add some.
I'm also working on a new 101 things to do in 1001 days as I really can't find my old one and I can't see the post on here with it.

Happy New Year
Well, I'm sure you're all hoping for something profound or moving.
And I wish I could say that I can see clearly now the rain is gone. But, for right now, all I can see is that the monsoon might be lessening to a drizzle.
Here's to 2010 and to my hope for a better year.
