Good Fences...
We have been warned by the college dudes who live across the hall not to "mess with" the guys who live downstairs, because they are drug dealers. I do not doubt this, considering all the people who come knocking at their door for thirty minutes plus at a time at all hours of the day and night, and the distinct odor of "an herbal something-or-other" we occassionally detect wafting from their apartment.

Ick, I feel your pain. Some of the guys in the house next door to us are constantly smoking something 'herbal'. I'm sure they always start smoking as soon as I hang laundry outside or want to sit in the garden too. Still, at least they're not dealing drugs, though one of my housemates assures me that the cars that stop at the end of our street and leave their engines running in the middle of the night are all drug dealers.
